Assist Epic Systems Corporation’s customers in various capacities to install and roll out the EpicCare medical record system. Primary responsibility has been outpatient HL7 interface testing, with my particular specialty being Lab interfaces but am familiar with the phrase "other duties as assigned".

1996 -2000 Quality Assurance (part-time*)
Tested EpicCare medical record system and its lab interface.
*Until the year 2000 I was the only employee allowed to work from home.

1994 -1996 Install Coordinator
Managed the installation of EpicCare medical records system. Primarily, this was a project management position to help keep customer and Epic resources in sync. Training was a major part of the installation starting with how to run the project through how to train end users (doctors and nurses). Workflow design was vitally important, as was interface design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and creative problem solving were required.

Wrote programs to maintain and enhance Cadence appointment scheduling system. Also supported customers via telephone and assisted with the training of The Children’s Memorial Medical Center of Chicago.
